The situation across England is that while coronavirus is present in most communities we have a population where previous infections and the national vaccination programme means the majority of people have some immunity. Levels of immunity do vary individually and for some people they will continue to be significantly vulnerable to the virus and its potential long-term effects.Within the Church we believe that everyone is known and loved individually by God and that as many members within one body we are called to be responsible to and for one another, respecting the more vulnerable whose suffering is our suffering (1 Cor 12:12-27).Everyone has a different set of criteria by which they judge whether they feel safe in different situations. Here at St John’s, whilst we have removed the majority of the previous formal restrictions, we still would ask everyone to respectful of the needs of those around them, and continue to treat all with care and respect. Thank you.
